Privacy Policy

Short version: FinLit Quest does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. There is no account, no login, and no server — everything the app remembers about you (coins, XP, level, streak, puzzle progress, lesson progress, and your theme preference) is stored only in local storage on your own device, and never leaves it.

What we collect

Nothing. FinLit Quest does not ask for your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or any other personal information. There is no account-creation or sign-in step of any kind — the app is fully usable the moment you open it.

What's stored, and where

The app saves your progress locally on your device using standard browser/device local storage, so that your coins, XP, level, streak, and puzzle/lesson completion status are still there the next time you open the app. This data:

Stays entirely on your device.
Is never transmitted to us or to anyone else — FinLit Quest has no backend server to send it to.
Is not backed up to any cloud service by the app itself, so it does not transfer automatically if you switch devices or reinstall the app.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

FinLit Quest does not use analytics services, advertising networks, crash-reporting tools, or any other third-party SDK. No usage data is collected, and nothing about how you use the app is tracked or measured — including by us.

Third parties

FinLit Quest does not share, sell, or transmit any data to third parties, because it does not collect or transmit any data in the first place. There are no third-party integrations in the app.

Children's privacy

FinLit Quest does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information from anyone at all. The app contains no chat, messaging, social, or data-entry features that could expose a user's personal information to us or to other users.

Deleting your data

Since all data lives only on your device, you're always in full control of it. To remove it entirely, clear the app's local storage/site data in your browser settings (web) or uninstall the app (native app) — either action permanently deletes your saved progress, since no copy exists anywhere else.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that does collect data — this page will be updated with a new effective date before that change ships, and the description above will be corrected to match exactly what the app actually does at that time.
